Centrally located in Nebraska and minutes off of Interstate 80, the 240 acre Fonner Park Campus is the hub for much of the activities that take place in Grand Island throughout the year. A live horse race meet runs from late February through early May each year. Concerts, entertainment, sports and athletic events, conventions and trade shows are all annual events held in the Heartland Events Center's Eihusen Arena. The Bosselman Conference Center, located adjacent to the Eihusen Arena provides premier facilities for meetings, conferences, wedding receptions and banquets of all types and sizes. Nearly 500,000 sq. ft. of state-of-the-art exhibition, livestock and equine facilities invite national, regional and local events each year."

In St. Paul Criminal Courts, the government brings a case against a defendant who is accused of breaking the law. In St. Paul Civil Courts, the Court settles disputes between citizens that they are unable to resolve on their own.
